This course will reflect any new changes in the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and review important verbal and math skills assessed in the SAT I.  Students can become familiar with the test format and learn valuable test-taking strategies.  The course fee includes the latest version of the book “The Official SAT Study Guide” from the College Board.  The class will meet for four Saturday mornings on the Penn State York campus.  Please contact Judy Woods for further information:  jwoods@psu.edu or 717-771-4032.

Attention Parents and Students:

This is a reminder of our upcoming Financial Aid night this Wednesday, December 4th.  The program will run from 6:30-8 PM in the PAC.

We are pleased to have Jessica Petrie, Financial Aid Coordinator, at Penn State York to present important information as you start the financial aid process.

Parents and students will learn what they need to do to apply for all types of financial aid, including completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is required to qualify for most student aid programs such as the Pennsylvania State Grant, Federal Pell Grant, institutional awards and low-cost federal student and parent loans.

Participants will also be briefed on Pennsylvania-specific aid programs, as well as the importance of minimizing student loan debt and searching for free money awards like scholarships to help pay for education costs.
