School Bus Rodeo

South Western School District is hosting a School Bus Rodeo on August 8 from 7:30 AM-noon at EHMIS.  Volunteers are needed to assist in various ways including judging and manning cones and watching buses (all with adult supervision).   There is also an informational meeting on August 7 at 4 PM to go over details of the event.  For more information and to sign up contact Doreen Grap at 637-8141 or Claudia Jones at 624-1961

UTZ Summer Bash 

Volunteers are needed to assist with the UTZ Summer Bash held at the Outlet Store on Carlisle Street.  The event takes place Friday, July 25 from 11 AM-4PM.  The events’ purpose is to provide a FREE day of fun to ALL kids in Hanover.  There will be many local vendors, including Rita’s Italian Ice, Bob the Critter Guy, Turkey Hill, Ballonables, Hickory Falls, and fun activities to take part in, such as face-painting and carnival games, and later in the day, the Little UTZ Girl will be pulling the winner of the month long Kids Coloring Contest.

In order to make this event a success, we are looking for local volunteers who would be willing to help throughout the day with various duties in order to make the event go as smooth as possible. You will be given official community service hour documentation for any volunteer organization you may be involved in or for your own personal resume.
