Understanding College: Academic Possibilities Night @ York College

York College is offering a special event aimed at helping high school students, regardless of where they plan to attend college, get a better handle on choosing a major and a career path.

I appreciate any help you can offer in having your students consider registering for  Understanding College: Academic Possibilities Night on Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00pm.

Beyond hearing about different academic possibilities, students and families will hear from York College students who can talk about what high schoolers should know about becoming a productive college student who is ready for the job market. We’ll also have graduates talk about their own career paths, and YCP staff who will discuss how college can help to expand a transferable skill set.

We would love it if you could let students know about this event and have them register for this free program!

This is open to any high school student who wants guidance regarding the academic major selection process, or who wants a better idea how their skills may line up with a career. (You are welcome to join us as well!)

Thanks for your help in spreading the word.

P.S. We have a Junior Visitation Day in April that’s perfect for underclassmen considering York College.
